I created this space for anyone carrying something heavy, especially in the moments when life feels dark and it is hard to find the words to pray.

Why I created this space

There was a season in my life when I felt afraid, alone and unsure how to move forward. Hope felt distant, and finding the strength to take the next step was not always easy.

The change began with one small, honest prayer from my heart. I did not have perfect words; I simply brought what I was carrying to God. Through prayer, Scripture and the love of God shown through Jesus, light began to return to my life. Over time, I grew stronger, found courage and began to see the life differently. Looking back on that difficult chapter, I feel grateful that such a small prayer could become the beginning of such a meaningful change.

That experience helped shape the person I am today. It is why I created Scripture for This Moment: a gentle place where someone facing grief, stress, loneliness or uncertainty can feel welcome, find comfort and begin with one honest prayer.

A prayer from my heart to yours

Loving God, I pray for every person who finds this little space. Bless them and the people they love with good health, happiness and peace.

Bring comfort where there is pain, healing where it is needed, and patient support through uncertain days. Let those who feel alone find kindness, and those who feel weary find rest and renewed strength.

Fill their lives with moments of joy and reasons to hope. May they feel loved and find courage for the next small step. Amen.

My hope for you

I hope you leave this space feeling a little less alone and a little more able to take the next step. You are welcome here whether prayer is familiar to you or you are trying it for the first time.

Prayer does not mean you have to face difficulties without other support. Reaching out to someone you trust, a church leader or a professional can be part of finding your way forward.
